TAPPS State Track Meet

I spent this weekend at Baylor University in Waco, Texas so I could attended the TAPPS State Track Meet. It included 1A through 6A and there was great competition.

Although, I was mainly interested in the 3A shot put and discus competition, I took the time to check out what other divisions were doing.

In the boy's discus and shot put 3A beat everyone. Alex Adams of Covenant set a state record in the shot put and easily won the discus but missed the state record he set last year.

The 3A competition was so tough that the fourth place shot put would have beat winners in the other divisions.

All in all the track meet was a great success and TAPPS should be commended for a job well done.
